22 Weeks

How Far along? 22 weeks 4 days

Size of the Baby? some sights say papaya, some say spaghetti squash...basically I am thinking he is a foot long

Maternity Clothes? O ya

Gender? baby boy

Movement? We have a mover on our hands. This week I feel him all throughout the day, he keeps me company at work. Until this week every time DR put his hand on my belly it stilled him. It was like he knew his daddy's touch. This week though he is excited to show off his new found moves to his pops :)

Sleep? Still pretty good, not so easy to lay on my back. There are some positions that are super uncomfortable, depending on how he is sitting on me.

Cravings? Nothing major this week!

Symptoms?  He is starting to feel pretty heavy inside of me

What I miss? Still the active thing...hoping it will motivate me to get back into great shape after he comes!

Milestones? Watching my belly jump all around. I will post a video of it soon! And registering with Kris!

Weight Gain? Not sure because I haven't been back to Dr. I'm thinking prob 10-12 lbs eeeek

What I’m excited about? Starting the nursery!

Baby Center update: 22 Weeks At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

20 weeks and counting!

How Far along? 20 weeks

Size of the Baby? some sights say banana, some say cantaloupe!!

Maternity Clothes? Yes

Gender? Little Levi

Movement? All the time. Mainly at night when I lay down but lately I feel him when I am sitting up. He is actually kicking like crazy right now as I am typing this

Sleep? Getting harder to get comfortable. I cant really lay on my back because he just sits on all kinds of things inside of me, and getting up in the middle of the night is tough because it is SO hard to sit up. My core now consists of a baby

Cravings? Chocolate milk shakes and candy. Not good. I am trying to not eat so much sugar but it is crazzzy how bad I want it!

Symptoms?  Just going to the bathroom a lot. Anddd some moodiness :) thank the Lord for my husband's patience

What I miss? working out/ being active. I wasnt working out regularly when I got pregnant so I wasnt able to start something. But I can walk! Haha soo exciting!

Milestones? Reaching the halfway point! It is crazy to think that baby boy will be here in just about 4 months!

Weight Gain? 8 lbs

What I’m excited about? Starting the nursery and registering!

Baby Center update: Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)
He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Christmas/19 weeks

Well today I am actually 20 weeks, but I have been wanting to post this one and just have not had time so a 20 week update will come later. Here are some shots from 19 weeks...

And my lovely husband HA….

He thinks he is SO funny :)

                      …..but I love him
Levi also got to experience his 'first Christmas' and he is not even here yet! This little boy is going to be spoiled by his aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We are blessed! He got lots of precious clothes, books, his first pair of Sperry's, and his lovey. Mom also got me a fetal heart monitor so we can hear his little heart beat whenever we want! I will post a recording later!

We had a great Christmas and can't believe that next year little boy will be 6 months by then!!!

Levi Miles Granger

So we finally picked his name! We have liked Levi from the start but needed to use it with this little baby and make sure it fit. A few months before I got pregnant, DR was driving home from work listening to a sermon and he heard the pastor talking about the tribes of 'Levi' and he called me right then and said that he had found the name of our future son. Miles doesn't have any significance other than the fact that it seemed to fit. I also am for sure feeling him move and kick. Last night I was laying in bed and he gave me two big kicks in a row. I can press on my stomach when he is moving and he will sometimes kick back. It's awesome!

Also I wanted to post the 18 week pictures!

Symptoms? I feel pretty good, besides the fact that I can feel my stomach stretching. Very strange

What I miss? well I have been missing Michelob Ultra but I have discovered that Odouls is really not a bad substitute for now!

Milestones? feeling him move! its sooo crazy!!

Weight Gain? 6 lbs

What I’m excited about? Our next appt Dec 27th!!!

Baby Center Update for Week 18:

Head to rump, your baby is about 6 inches long and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.

Weight Gain? 4 lbs

What I’m excited about? Feeling him move for sure the first time!

Baby Center Update for Week 16:

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.
